Confirm your day in Power Review

The fast card-stack flow for submitting your time, and for managers clearing flags.

Power Review lets you confirm a day one card at a time. You set the day’s total first, then step through each activity.

Open Power Review

On the web, select Review timesheet in the banner on your timesheet. The review opens as Review Your Day. In the desktop app, open the Review tab, titled Power Review. The steps below use the web labels. The desktop app uses Confirm time, Add untracked activity, and Confirm on each activity card.

Set the total

The first card asks “How much time should we report?” It shows your tracked time and any time that is not ready for review yet. Use Round up, -15m, or +15m to change the total, then select Confirm Time. Timeglass spreads the difference across your activities, so you don’t have to edit each one.

Did work away from your computer? Select Add Untracked Activity on this card to add it.

Step through the activity cards

Each card shows one activity. You can:

  • Change its reported time, description, client, project, or category.
  • Select Submit when it looks right.
  • Select Hide for personal or off-task time. Hidden time doesn’t count toward reporting.
  • Select Split when one card holds more than one piece of work.

The client, project, and category pickers list Timeglass’s other likely choices under Also likely, so a wrong assignment is usually one click to fix.

Finish the review

The last card summarizes what you submitted and hid. Select Finish review. If your day crossed one of the workspace’s review limits, the button reads Submit for approval and the day goes to your manager. Workspace admins and team managers reviewing their own day always see Finish review.

Managers reviewing a teammate’s day

Managers use the same card flow, titled Review flagged time, to check a teammate’s activities that still need review and select Approve on each.

Common questions

Does adjusting the total change what gets reported?

Yes. The total you confirm becomes your reported time, and Timeglass spreads the difference across your activities.

What does “hidden” time do?

Hidden time doesn’t count toward any total, project, or report. Use it for personal or off-task time.
