Timesheets

Fix drafted entries

Change the client, project, category, time, or description, and hide off-task time.

Select any activity on your timesheet to open Edit activity. The same fields appear on each Power Review card.

Change the client, project, or category

Choose a different value from the picker. The top of each picker lists Timeglass’s other likely choices under Also likely. This is the most common fix while Timeglass learns your work.

Change the reported time

Adjust the Reporting time when an activity over- or under-counts. The card also shows how much time was tracked, so you can see the adjustment.

Rewrite the description

Edit the description when the drafted wording doesn’t match the task.

Hide off-task time

Select Hide for personal or off-task time. Hidden activities move to the Hidden section and don’t count toward any total. Select Unhide to bring one back. An activity you added by hand shows Delete instead.

Split or merge

Use Split when one activity holds work for more than one client or project, and Merge when two activities are really the same work. See Split or merge activities.

Add work you did away from the computer

In Power Review, select Add Untracked Activity. On Home, select Add activity beside Worked away from your computer today? See Your Home page.

Common questions

How do I move an activity to a different project?

Open the activity on your timesheet and choose a different project in the picker. Timeglass lists its other likely choices under Also likely.

Can I exclude personal activity from my timesheet?

Yes. Select Hide on the activity. Hidden time doesn’t count toward any total or report, and Timeglass already hides time it judges to be off task.
