Projects & clients

The Projects & Clients page

Views, filters, scopes, statuses, and activity assignment.

Projects & Clients brings project status, client work, budgets, contributors, and activity into one place.

How work reaches a project

Create projects yourself or import an existing list. Timeglass assigns captured activity to those projects. People can correct an assignment while reviewing their timesheet.

Time Timeglass could not place on a project collects in the No Project Identified row. Select the row to look through the time and move it to the right project.

Choose a view

Use Clients, Project Types, or Projects above the list. The options shown depend on which workspace features are enabled and whether those groups contain projects.

Filter the list

Search by project name. Open Sort & view to set a date range, filter by budget status, sort by health, time, or name, and switch between a comfortable and compact list. Use the scope control to choose Whole Workspace or a single team.

Project statuses

  • Active: in use. Projects you create or import stay active until you mark them complete.
  • Inactive: a project Timeglass identified on its own that has had no activity in the last 14 days.
  • Completed: finished but still available for reporting.

The All tab lists every project regardless of status.

Open the details

Select a project to see its team, client, type, and billing, the Project Overview chart, its Team Members, and the activity behind its hours. Switch the chart between Time and Money to compare hours or value with the project’s target or budget.
